This was my first Count Basie album that I purchased at the age 14. I was always a fan of  jazz and big band and this album has it all. Though this was a low budget album the music is great. This album can also be purchased on CD through Amazon. I found this out when I was researching the year this record came out. The CD also contains some bonus tracks.

The Avengers and Other Favourites

Well for now I've decided to go with the copy that I already have. It's at 160 kbs but sounds pretty good, I doctored it up slightly and I'm pretty happy with it until I can acquire a wav copy or the album itself. Now, you know me I really would like to get the original LP in stereo. So anyone sees one for sale for a reasonable price ($8.00 - $20.00) please let me know.
